So, XRP‘s search interest is apparently doing better than my love life on a Friday night-it’s surged on X! 🎉 And guess who’s calling attention to it? Vet, an XRP Ledger dUNL validator, because of course, this is the kind of news we all need, right?

Vet retweeted some chart from Nikita Bier, the head of product at X and a big shot over at Solana. I mean, who doesn’t love a good chart? It’s like the stock market went to art school. 🖼️

Apparently, XRP was one of the top searched cashtags, right up there with the usual suspects-Bitcoin and Ethereum. You know, the cool kids on the blockchain block.

And just when you thought XRP was going to fade away like my last haircut, it’s back in the limelight thanks to some recent developments. Ripple has been busy, securing two major regulatory milestones in just a week. Talk about an overachiever! Yesterday, they announced their second big win-a preliminary approval for their Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from Luxembourg’s Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier. Sounds fancy, right? Must be nice to have your paperwork all sorted out. 😎

This follows last week when they got their EMI license and Cryptoasset Registration from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority. I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a lot of letters to me!

XRP Ledger Gains Progress-Kind Of

In more exciting news (or not), RippleX is throwing an XRP Community Night in Denver. It’s like a family reunion for crypto enthusiasts, scheduled for Feb. 18 from 7-10 p.m. MST during ETH Denver. You can practically hear the excitement in the air… or is that just the smell of leftover takeout? 🍕

Oh, and let’s not forget RippleX announcing that all XRPL version 3.0.0 amendments are set to be adopted on the mainnet in two weeks. So, if you’re an XRPL node operator, it’s time to upgrade your software. Because nothing says “fun” like being amendment-blocked! 🙄

The Permissioned Domains amendment is almost ready to roll. This is supposed to help financial institutions dip their toes into permissioned flows on the XRP Ledger. Will it work? Who knows! It’s like waiting for a sequel to a movie you didn’t really like in the first place!
