Anti-cheat mistake could be the cause

Fans believe popular streamer Tfue was banned from the game Arc Raiders because its anti-cheat system mistakenly identified his account as breaking the game’s rules, though the official reason for the ban remains unknown.

One player commented that it’s strangely reassuring the AI can’t distinguish between legitimate skill and cheating. However, they also expressed frustration about the prevalence of cheaters, especially that popular streamer Tfue was affected.

After Tfue shared his thoughts, Shroud – another popular streamer of Arc Raiders – jokingly called it a brilliant way to get people talking.

fk this is a genius bait

Embark started banning cheaters in Arc Raiders on January 12, 2026, after recognizing and promising to address the problem. Players have reported a large number of accounts being banned as a result.

Tfue used X (formerly Twitter) to ask Embark why their game was experiencing issues. As of now, the game developer hasn’t replied to his message.
