New episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days are currently airing on TLC, and the season is well underway. While we’ve seen a lot of drama between Sheena and Forrest, recent episodes also featured more of Aviva and her boyfriend, Stig, who is a well-known pop singer.

The storyline focuses on Aviva moving to Belize and questioning if she’s suited to life as a prominent musician’s partner. Many viewers, including myself, are skeptical about how famous Stig Da Artist actually is, given how much 90 Day Fiancé promotes him. A recent Reddit discussion pointed out that his Spotify numbers seem surprisingly low. Someone claiming to be from Belize shared their opinion on Stig’s level of fame.

Originally from Belize and now living in the US, he’s a well-known musician in his home country. He started his career after winning a local singing competition years ago and has been performing ever since. He’s a regular at events across Belize, and his music is often played on radio and television. Because Belize has a small population, almost everyone knows his work. However, traditional measures of success like Spotify streams aren’t very reliable there. This is because most people prefer to pay with cash or bank transfers rather than using credit or debit cards.

Belize is a small country with a population of over 415,000 people – about the same size as a city like Minneapolis. Because of this, someone from Belize, like Stig, isn’t as well-known to most Americans as typical celebrities. To put it in perspective, Angela Deem, an Instagram personality, has more followers than Belize has citizens.

Despite everything, Aviva has traveled to Belize, where she’s reunited with her boyfriend amidst a supportive community of his fans. Soon after arriving, his manager expressed concern about their relationship, suggesting it might interfere with his creative process. The manager also revealed that the singer had recently ended a relationship with someone from the US and likely hadn’t fully moved on.

While not as explosive as Rick Van Vactor’s fight with Trisha earlier in the episode – especially considering his secret – this conversation was still incredibly intense. It seemed like the manager was deliberately trying to cause trouble between Aviva and Stig, possibly hoping they’d split up before she left Belize. As of 2026, it’s still unclear if Aviva and Stig are still a couple, so we’ll have to wait and find out!
