Arc Raiders players have formed a supportive community, dedicated to protecting each other from the dangerous Arc and enemy raiders.

I’m really hooked on Arc Raiders, and I think one of the biggest reasons it’s so popular is how much freedom it gives you. Seriously, you can play it any way you like. I’ve seen people complete entire missions without even using a weapon, just sneaking and avoiding enemies, which is awesome! But if you’re like me and prefer a more action-packed approach, you can totally go in guns blazing and take everyone down. It’s just great that the game supports both styles.

Trouble really starts when explorers searching for treasure encounter hostile raiders who are spoiling for a battle.

Fortunately, a group of players has formed with a single purpose: to protect and help friendly players survive.

Arc Raiders Rescue Raiders are trying to “keep the peace”

This group, calling themselves ‘Rescue Raiders,’ shares stories of their good deeds on a dedicated subreddit. The page’s description explains what they believe in.

The Arc Raiders are dedicated to maintaining order, even if it requires extreme measures. Rescue Raiders, working alongside them and against other hostile groups, prioritize helping people before resorting to force.

The subreddit showcases videos of daring rescues, often involving players who were abandoned by opponents or enemy groups. These ‘Rescue Raiders’ are equipped with defibrillators, allowing them to revive and help those left helpless.

One player bravely rushed into a dangerous situation to save another. Without any armor or shield, they quickly revived a downed teammate who was being attacked by Hornets, and managed to escape just as the rescued player thanked them for their incredible help.

Occasionally, players have to resort to extreme measures to try and achieve peace within the game. For example, one clip showed a group of three attempting to escape, but one of them unexpectedly opened fire while another was trying to activate a terminal.

Instead of taking the stolen items, the Rescue Raider fought back, defeated the attacker, and then helped the downed player get back on their feet.

The group launched on November 10, 2025, and currently receives around 94,000 visitors and over 4,000 contributors each week. This highlights the diverse gameplay options in Arc Raiders, following a popular competition between streamers earlier this year.
