Giant Titans are invading the world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows! Ubisoft has just released a special, limited-time event bringing the characters and threats from Attack on Titan into the game, as part of Title Update 11. All players on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac can participate. When Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on the Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2, 2025, Switch owners will also be able to experience the event.

Okay, so there’s a new Attack on Titan event coming to the game! I’ll be playing as Naoe and Yasuke, and we’re basically investigating some weird stuff going on – rumors of a strange ritual. Of course, that means we’ll be fighting Titans – those huge, scary monsters from the manga and anime! We’ll even get to explore places straight out of Attack on Titan, like the Crystal Cave. The best part? Completing the event quests will unlock some exclusive rewards, including a brand new weapon. It’s all happening over the next four weeks, wrapping up in late December, so I gotta jump in!
There’s a slight discrepancy regarding the event’s end date. The trailer states it concludes on December 15, 2025, while Ubisoft’s official announcement says December 22nd.
Players who want to spend a little extra can buy outfits based on Attack on Titan for their characters. Naoe’s outfit looks like the uniform and scarf worn by Mikasa Ackerman, a main character in the series, and Yasuke’s is modeled after the Colossal Titan. The Naoe Attack on Titan pack also includes special weapons and a mount designed for the Survey Corps.
With the latest update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a new quest called “A Puzzlement” has been added. In this quest, Naoe and Yasuke trade skills – Naoe learns Yasuke’s powerful War Kick, and Yasuke learns how to perform quiet, non-lethal takedowns.
