The game is launching soon, and players who prefer physical copies will be able to buy one in 2026. Two different editions will be available next year.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is an action-packed beat ‘em up game where you play as a team of famous Marvel heroes – Captain America, Spider-Man, Storm, Black Panther, Phoenix, Iron Man, and Wolverine. They’re united against Annihilus, who is launching a massive invasion from the Negative Zone with an unstoppable army known as the Annihilation Wave.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion Is Getting A Physical Release
Okay, gamers, get ready! Marvel Cosmic Invasion is hitting Nintendo Switch, the new Switch 2 (yes, really!), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on December 1st, 2025. And the best part? It’s going to be available on Game Pass right from day one, so you can jump in and play immediately!
Dotemu will release physical copies of Marvel Cosmic Invasion on March 13, 2026. A standard edition of the game will be available, as well as a Deluxe Edition that includes extra items. Both versions will be available for pre-order in the U.S. at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart.
What’s In The Marvel Cosmic Invasion Deluxe Edition?
As a huge fan, I was so excited to get the Marvel Cosmic Invasion Deluxe Edition! It doesn’t just include the game, but also comes with some really cool extras. You get a beautiful steelbook case, a massive poster – seriously, it’s over 21 inches wide! – and a set of fifteen art cards and stickers featuring all the characters you can play as. It’s a great package for any collector!
Marvel Cosmic Invasion will be available for $39.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game costs $49.99 on Nintendo Switch 2. A Deluxe Edition is priced at $59.99 on Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and $69.99 on Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version comes on a physical game cartridge, so you won’t need to download it.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion looks like a great game for fans of classic arcade titles, particularly those who enjoyed the X-Men arcade game. The physical copies offer the benefit of permanent ownership, so players won’t risk losing access if there are issues with their gaming system or online account.
