Spike Chunsoft announced that Steins;Gate Re:Boot will be released in North America and Europe in 2026. They also shared a preview of the updated graphics for the game, which is still being developed.
Steins;Gate Re:Boot is a refreshed version of the 2009 game, Steins;Gate, originally released on Xbox 360. This new version features improved graphics and additional story content. The developers recently showed off a preview of the game’s updated visuals, and it’s currently in development.
The game boasts beautiful character art by huke, and all event illustrations were also overseen by him. The backgrounds are highly detailed recreations of Akihabara as it looked in 2010, made using a lot of reference photos and materials.

The game’s visuals use historical documents to realistically recreate Akihabara as it looked around 2010. We’ve also included brand-new locations to expand the story and add more depth.
