Mary, who was 98 years old, died on New Year’s Eve, her granddaughter announced on January 2. The granddaughter, known as itsPyxie on TikTok, shared the news with her 1.4 million followers.

The TikTok creator, itsPyxie, often featured her grandmother in her videos, but started posting fewer videos with her towards the end of 2025. Fans frequently asked about itsPyxie’s grandmother, and the creator last updated them on December 19th, explaining that Mary was simply becoming more reserved, which explained her reduced appearances.
