9-1-1 Nashville’s Season 2 Fate Confirmed At ABC After Lone Star’s Cancellation

9-1-1: Nashville season 2’s fate has been confirmed at ABC following Lone Star‘scancellation.

Both 9-1-1: Lone Star and 9-1-1: Nashville started as spin-offs from the original 9-1-1 series. 9-1-1 initially aired for six seasons on Fox before moving to ABC for its seventh season. 9-1-1: Lone Star was canceled by Fox after five seasons in February 2025, but the second spin-off, 9-1-1: Nashville, debuted on ABC the following October. The first season of 9-1-1: Nashville will conclude on March 26th.

Good news for fans of the 9-1-1 universe! ABC has renewed 9-1-1: Nashville for a second season, and the original 9-1-1 series will be back for a tenth season. Plus, another ABC show, High Potential, is getting a third season.

Created by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani, 9-1-1: Nashville showcases the challenging work and personal stories of Tennessee’s first responders. The show follows firefighters, paramedics, police officers, and 911 operators as they handle emergencies and save lives.

The main cast of 9-1-1: Nashville features Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz, Hailey Kilgore, and Hunter McVey. Gregory Alan Williams, MacKenzie Porter, and Tim Matheson appear in recurring roles. Country star Kane Brown makes a special guest appearance as himself.

The TV show 9-1-1: Nashville first aired on ABC in October 2025. After a short break, it returned with new episodes in January 2026, and the first season will conclude on March 26th.

New episodes of 9-1-1: Nashville premiere on ABC Thursdays at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central. You can also watch them on Hulu starting the day after they air.
