Okay, so the big ARC Raiders Expedition is almost here! It’s happening from December 17th to the 22nd, though it was pushed back a little. Basically, if I’m level 20 or higher, I can send my Raider on this thing, but it’s a total reset – everything I’ve worked for, my level, all my stuff in the stash, skills, blueprints, everything gets wiped. Honestly, a lot of us aren’t thrilled about it. You have to grind a ton just to get the rewards, and even then, most players don’t think it’s worth losing all your progress for what you get back.
The controversial Expedition in ARC Raiders
Although resetting your progress in ARC Raiders will start you over, it does offer lasting benefits for your next character. Here’s what you’ll receive:
- The Patchwork Raider outfit
- Scrappy Janitor Cap
- An Expedition indicator icon
- Up to 5 Skill points
- 12 extra Stash slots
You can also get temporary boosts that build up by participating in Expeditions, but these boosts are lost if you miss one.
While the added storage is a welcome bonus, the real draw is the skill points you can earn. You can get up to five, but each one demands a combined Stash and Coin value of one million when you start an Expedition. To maximize your rewards and get all five skill points, you’ll need a five-million stash – a significant amount. Many players feel this system isn’t ideal, arguing that it encourages repetitive and unengaging hoarding. They believe that all players who reset their progress should receive the same rewards, considering the effort already required to prepare for Expeditions.
Fast ways to farm valuable loot in ARC Raiders
If you’re planning to attempt the Expedition and risk losing your gear in ARC Raiders, a few locations offer valuable loot worth collecting. The Hospital in Buried City is a good place to start, with lockers near a central room, but be aware that other players will probably be searching there too. Stella Montis, the research facility, is another recommended spot.
To find out the total value of items you can store in your Stash, simply select everything in your inventory and right-click. This will display the combined sell price. If you’re playing on a console, hold down the LT/L2 button and press A/X to see this value.
