Five new DC movies have been added to HBO Max.
As a huge cinema fan, I’ve been following the changes at DC Studios closely. It’s all part of Warner Bros. Discovery now, the same company behind HBO Max. And that’s great news for us, because a lot of DC and Warner Bros. movies – like Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel and James Gunn’s Superman – are already streaming there, making it super easy to revisit some favorites and discover new ones.
The streaming service now offers five DC films, and one of them has a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
What five DC movies are now streaming on HBO Max?
DC fans now have more to watch on HBO Max! Today, the streaming service added Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, Catwoman, Green Lantern: Beware My Power, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, and Green Lantern: First Flight.
Currently, the animated movie Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans has a perfect 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with audiences giving it an 88% score. Released in 2019, the film brings together characters from the Teen Titans Go! series and the original Teen Titans show that first aired in 2003.
I have to admit, the 2004 Catwoman movie directed by Pitof has a bit of a reputation – and not a good one! It’s sadly famous for winning a whole bunch of Golden Raspberry Awards, or ‘Razzies.’ Halle Berry actually accepted the Worst Actress Razzie in person, which was… memorable. Beyond that, the film itself took home awards for Worst Picture, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay – a pretty complete sweep of the ‘worst’ categories, really.
There have been three animated Green Lantern movies released so far: First Flight in 2009, Emerald Knights in 2011, and Beware My Power in 2022. A new live-action Green Lantern TV show, Lanterns, is coming to HBO Max, featuring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan, Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, and Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro. While a specific release date hasn’t been confirmed, it’s currently planned for late summer 2026.
