French studio Amplitude Studios unveiled Endless Legend 2, a follow-up to their well-received 4X turn-based strategy title set in a fantastical world, initially released in 2014. Notably, the publisher for this sequel will be Hooded Horse – the same company responsible for Manor Lords, Norland, Against the Storm, and Old World. The announcement came with the debut trailer, showcasing snippets of gameplay that you can view below.

Endless Legend 2 announced
In the next installment, we’ll explore the world of Saiadhy – a beautiful yet perilous oceanic utopia on the brink of destruction. The planet is being ravaged by unpredictable weather and massive tidal shifts that reshape its terrain. This means players must adapt to varying environments, all while facing hidden threats lurking deep within the waters of Saiadhya.
In this game, developers assure an exciting journey where our decisions carry significant weight. You get to decide whether you’ll carve your path as a merciless leader, a shrewd negotiator, or a skillful architect. Throughout the game, you’ll also pick from multiple distinct factions, each providing distinctive gaming experiences.
Amplitude Studios plans to blend the knowledge they’ve acquired during their work on the Endless series and the game Humankind, aiming to collaborate extensively with the gaming community for valuable input. Their goal is to produce an exceptional game based on the feedback from its members.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific launch date for the upcoming game, “Endless Legend 2,” but it is expected to debut on Steam’s early access platform soon. For those eagerly waiting, there’s an opportunity to join the Amplitude Insider program, where you might be selected as a tester and get a sneak peek at “Endless Legend 2” before its official release!
