As a Follower: I’ve got some exciting news to share! The movie I’m following will have a limited theatrical release on October 3, followed by a wide release on October 10. And who’s at the helm? None other than the talented Ronan Day-Lewis, the director. The stellar cast includes Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Bean, and Samuel Bottomley. Can’t wait to see it unfold!

The Running Man

As a cinephile penning my thoughts post-screening, allow me to share my insights on this Edgar Wright-directed masterpiece that graced the big screen. Titled “Top Gun: Maverick,” this film stars Glen Powell as the young pilot learning from the legendary Josh Brolin’s Maverick, with supporting roles played by William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, and Michael Cera. In essence, I found it to be a heart-pounding, adrenaline-fueled ode to aviation, camaraderie, and resilience.
Approximately four decades following the 1987 film adaptation of Stephen King’s dystopian thriller, Powell steps into Arnold Schwarzenegger’s shoes as a competitor on “The Running Man,” a TV show where he earns money for each hour he survives while being pursued by hired assassins.
