3 games on Xbox Game Pass. Among the biggest 2025’s surprise is a new release from 11 bit studios and a mining action game

As we mentioned on December 2nd, Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers now have three new games to play. Two well-loved PC games are now available on consoles, and a third game is launching on PC for the first time.

A Game About Digging a Hole

The relaxing game, A Game About Digging a Hole, is now available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch after releasing on PC in February. Players earn money by finding and selling treasures and resources, which they can then use to buy better tools to dig even deeper.

Players are really enjoying this game, with overwhelmingly positive feedback on Steam. And starting today, those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, or PC Game Pass can play it as part of their subscription – no extra purchase needed!

Death Howl

Coming in at number two is Death Howl, a card game with an overhead perspective set in a Nordic Stone Age world. It’s published by 11 bit studios and will launch on PC around 8:00 am Pacific Time, available through PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch can get their hands on it starting February 19th.

Dome Keeper comes in at number three on our list. It’s an action game where you mine for resources and build defenses against incoming enemies. Originally released on PC in September 2022 to rave reviews – it’s currently rated ‘very positive’ on Steam – Dome Keeper is now available on Xbox Series X/S, as well as through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
