Paramount+ has a great selection of horror movies, and here are some of the best available. While Paramount doesn’t have a massive number of horror titles, the ones they do have are excellent. A prime example is Rosemary’s Baby, which was a groundbreaking horror film when it was released in 1968.

Although the studio might have initially been surprised by how well they did, the Friday the 13th films were a massive success. More recently, The Quiet Place series has become their latest hit franchise. You can find most of their scary movies streaming on Paramount+, offering a horror film for any occasion.

3. Event Horizon (1997)

The movie Event Horizon is well-known for some really disturbing scenes that were cut out, but it’s still a frightening film even without them. It’s a sci-fi horror story about a captain, played by Laurence Fishburne, who leads a team to find a spaceship called Event Horizon. They quickly discover the ship has returned from what feels like actual Hell.

Featuring a strong cast including Sam Neill and Jason Isaacs (known from The White Lotus), impressive visuals, and genuinely frightening moments, Event Horizon is a standout horror film set in space. The ending of Smile 2 has sparked a lot of debate, but the central twist feels consistent with the overall story and the movie’s antagonist. Sosie Bacon also deserves praise for her incredible performance, convincingly portraying both a pop star and someone descending into madness.
