Many people have become popular on social media by openly sharing their experiences with serious illnesses. Kaelin Bradshaw was one of them. The 29-year-old used TikTok, where she had over 100,000 followers, to regularly update people on her fight against a rare cancer affecting her bile duct.
Kaelin Bradshaw passed away on October 27th. Her husband, Austin, announced the news to her fans, sharing that she faced her diagnosis with both sadness and incredible determination. He said she vowed to fight and never lose hope, promising him and their family she would do everything she could.
She kept her word, but sadly, her illness got worse and her body couldn’t fight it anymore. Our precious daughter passed away on October 27th at 1:27 am, with me holding her hand. She was comfortable and surrounded by the love of our family.

Kaelin’s husband expressed gratitude to fans for their support during her fight with a rare cancer, and also thanked other content creators who are sharing their own experiences with similar challenges.
From the first time I saw her, she’s shown me real strength and beauty, and I’m happy she’s sharing that with everyone else,” Austin said in the video, which has been viewed over 1.5 million times.
From the beginning, she shared that receiving her diagnosis was frightening and upsetting, but she was thankful for the chance to fight for her life. She often thought of children who hadn’t been given the same opportunity, and she made a commitment to fight for them as well – a commitment she kept.
Kaelin last shared an update on October 26th, letting her followers know she still wasn’t eligible for chemotherapy, was switching hospice care providers, and had created a GoFundMe to support her husband.
I’m really hoping my partner and I can finally take that trip we’ve been planning! I’m waiting to get the okay from my doctor to start my next round of treatment, and we want to be prepared financially when the time comes. It would mean so much to us to be able to relax and enjoy ourselves after everything.
Fans have flooded her husband’s video, and many of her old uploads with their own tributes too.
