28 Years Later teaser contains cryptic hidden message for trailer drop

As a hardcore horror enthusiast and survivor of countless zombie apocalypses in various video games, I can’t help but feel a chill run down my spine at the sight of the teaser for 28 Years Later. The Morse code hints, the eerie beeping sounds, the flashing images – it’s all too reminiscent of those sleepless nights spent barricaded in my virtual safe house, listening out for the telltale moans of the undead.

The teaser trailer for 28 Years Later has arrived, and those with some Morse code knowledge might have worked out that there’s a hint of what’s to come.

On June 20, 2025, the much-anticipated follow-up to the horror movie will premiere in cinemas, and thus far, viewers have merely caught a glimpse of the film’s poster.

On the 7th of December, a short sneak peek trailer emerged as well. If you pay close attention to the sound, the Morse code played in the background may indicate the date for the debut of the first full-length trailer: Tuesday, the 10th of December.

Instead of a lengthy trailer, it uses quick, intense visuals and repetitive noises to hint at an impending doomsday-like setting.

Despite appearing random, there’s a pattern here: The beeping sounds are actually conveying the word “Tuesday” in Morse code. This seems to suggest that Tuesday is when we can expect the premiere of the first trailer for the sequel focusing on zombies.
