On Friday evening, the celebrations for the Golden Globes started a bit early in Palm Springs at the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Awards ceremony. This yearly event brought recognition to actress Nicole Kidman (“Babygirl”), the ensemble cast of “Emilia Pérez,” Ariana Grande (“Wicked”) and other notable figures.
The Golden Globes ceremonies took place in Los Angeles, but the fun began a day early on Friday night in Palm Springs at the Film Awards for the Palm Springs International Film Festival. This annual event honored actress Nicole Kidman, the cast of “Emilia Pérez,” Ariana Grande and more for their work.
On the subsequent day, Jennifer Lopez, Cynthia Erivo, along with ten budding directors, received recognition at the 10 Directors to Watch and Creative Impact Awards brunch held by EbMaster at The Parker Hotel.
