20 Years Later, An Xbox 360 Collector Finally Finishes Their $20,000 Game Library

As a fellow game collector, I’m always amazed by dedication, and this story really hits home! I heard about this incredible collector who spent years – seriously, decades! – tracking down every single Xbox 360 game. Can you imagine? Well, they finally finished their collection just recently. It ended up costing around $20,000, but the best part? Their son gifted them the very last game they needed to complete it. That’s a pretty awesome way to finish such a huge undertaking, if you ask me!

On January 2nd, Reddit user uncleseeth shared photos of their incredible video game collection on the r/gaming subreddit. It all started in 2005 when they received an Xbox 360 and the game Gun for Christmas. From that moment on, they dedicated themselves to collecting every single game released for the Xbox 360. Their collection eventually grew to 1,353 games, surpassing the 1,256 titles considered a complete set (excluding different versions of the same game).

They received several gifts, like the racing game El Chavo Kart from Efecto Studios and an Xbox stand. They were particularly surprised to find the action-adventure game Deadfall Adventures by The Farm 51, which they said reminded them of Indiana Jones.

The only game they needed to finish their collection was Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, which their son gave to them. Once they had that, the collection was complete! It’s worth around $20,000, considering most of the games would likely sell for about $15 each now, after being kept for over twenty years. However, they have one particularly valuable game: F1 2013, which is currently worth around $250.

After their original Xbox 360 failed and was replaced with an Xbox 360 Elite, uncleseeth has earned an impressive gamerscore of 497,000. They’re now focused on collecting different game versions and completing as many games as possible. They’ve played around 800 games, but finished about 175 – still a huge accomplishment!
