2 Forgotten Adam Sandler Comedies Are Dominating Prime Video’s U.S. Charts

People are showing how much they love Adam Sandler’s funny movies by watching them like crazy on Prime Video. He actually has three films in the top ten right now, including a couple that people had almost forgotten about!

According to FlixPatrol, Adam Sandler’s 2006 comedy Click is currently very popular on Prime Video, jumping 5 spots to reach number 3 in the U.S. as of February 20, 2026. Other Sandler films are also doing well: Big Daddy landed at number 10, and 50 First Dates remains a solid performer at number 9. It’s remarkable how well Sandler’s movies continue to stream and attract viewers, even years after their release – especially given the rest of Prime Video’s top 10.

Adam Sandler’s Underrated Fantasy Film Climbs Up the Streaming Charts

Of the three Adam Sandler movies currently popular, Click is performing the best – and many feel it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Released in 2006, Click tells the story of a man whose life is transformed when he finds a magical remote control that lets him control reality.

The movie Click featured a well-known cast including Kate Beckinsale, Christopher Walken, Henry Winkler, David Hasselhoff, Julie Kavner, and Sean Astin. Despite receiving mostly negative reviews and being compared to films like It’s A Wonderful Life, it performed very well financially, earning over $268 million worldwide on an $85 million budget.

I’ve always been a big fan of Click, and it’s really heartening to see so many others still love it too – especially with its recent resurgence on streaming! It’s been out for over twenty years, but it clearly still resonates with people. Interestingly, while critics weren’t blown away – it only has a 34% ‘Rotten’ score on Rotten Tomatoes – regular moviegoers absolutely adore it. Over 250,000 fans have given it a ‘Fresh’ rating of 66%, and to me, that says a lot more about a film’s true appeal.

Big Daddy & 50 First Dates Are 2 More Sandler Masterpieces on Prime Video

Though Click recently rose to number 3 on Prime Video, two other Adam Sandler films in the Top 10 are also truly great. 50 First Dates, from 2004, features Sandler as a commitment-phobic man who falls for an art teacher (Drew Barrymore) who has amnesia and forgets him every day. Like Click, critics weren’t kind to 50 First Dates (it has a 45% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), but audiences adore it, giving it a 65% score based on over 250,000 reviews.

In the 1999 film Big Daddy, Adam Sandler played a 32-year-old trying to win back his girlfriend by showing he could be responsible – so he adopts a five-year-old boy, played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse. While critics weren’t impressed (giving it a 39% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), audiences loved it, with a 74% approval score. The success of Big Daddy, along with Click and 50 First Dates, shows that Sandler’s movies consistently resonate with viewers, even if critics don’t always appreciate them.

Click, Big Daddy and 50 First Dates are all streaming on Prime Video.
