Two MCU heroes may be showing up in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, according to a new rumor.
The next Spider-Man movie, officially titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day (and sometimes referred to as Spider-Man 4), is coming to US theaters this July. Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is directing, and Tom Holland will be back as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man.
Which MCU heroes will reportedly have a cameo in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
A new online rumor from @Majestic_ucm suggests that Kate Bishop and Kamala Khan, both heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), will make brief appearances in the upcoming Spider-Man film, Brand New Day.
This information is currently just a rumor and shouldn’t be considered confirmed. There’s been no official word about Kate Bishop or Kamala Khan appearing in the next Spider-Man movie, and Marvel hasn’t announced any future plans for either character yet.
There’s been a lot of talk about Hailee Steinfeld and Iman Vellani’s characters appearing in future Avengers movies, specifically either Avengers: Doomsday or, more probably, Avengers: Secret Wars. Many fans believe we might see the Young Avengers team come together in Secret Wars, building on the connection established between Kate Bishop and Kamala Khan in the end credits of The Marvels. If Marvel Studios goes this route, a quick appearance from Steinfeld and Vellani – maybe even in another post-credit scene – would fit right in.
Besides Tom Holland, the actors confirmed to be in Spider-Man 4 are Zendaya (as MJ Jones-Watson), Jacob Batalon (as Ned Leeds), Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal (as the Punisher), Mark Ruffalo (as Hulk), Michael Mando (as Scorpion), Tramell Tillman, and Marvin Jones III (as Tombstone).
