In a recent announcement, Destiny 2 creators Bungie unveiled a fresh type of test for Guardians, titled Raid Feats. Here’s what you should be aware of regarding the upcoming custom challenge modifiers.
In Destiny 2, the creators are revamping the end-game raid experience by introducing a fresh type of modifiers intended to test even seasoned Guardians to their utmost abilities. This innovative feature called Raid Feats allows Guardians to set custom modifiers within raids, offering either greater or reduced difficulty levels.

Destiny 2: What are Raid Feats?
Raid Feats represent a unique method of personalizing raids with specific adjustments. With these Feats, Guardians can choose modifiers that introduce and regulate certain rules within encounters, such as setting up Time Trials or adding additional combatants to increase the difficulty level of fights.
In other words, beyond these two specific modifications, there may be additional ones exclusive to raids that will only become apparent once the new feature is launched and made available for use.
Moving forward, Raid Feats will become a regular feature in all upcoming raids, leaving Salvation’s Edge and other existing raids without this new addition. I apologize to those who enjoy Salvation’s Edge.

Apollo, and it seems this project is slated for a release in the year 2025, Summer. Typically, the first raid following the expansion’s launch will be adjustable by players, and historically, these raids become available a few weeks after the major expansion.

Although we’re unsure about the specific prizes for completing these Raid Challenges, Bungie has given us a hint on how they will operate. From what we understand, the more challenges that are ongoing during a single run, the higher the probability of obtaining superior rewards.
It’s important to keep in mind that Feats increase the complexity of a raid, meaning you can’t simply charge ahead and expect top-tier rewards without facing some obstacles along the way.
