At the BLAST Fall Final 2024 Group B Winners Match, Team Liquid’s up-and-coming AWPer, Roland “Ultimate” Tomkowiak, managed an impressive knife kill against Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut from Team Vitality. Few professional Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) players have accomplished this feat, making it quite a thrill to witness!
It’s astonishing, even comical, how bold the young Pole was to pull off such a feat, given that he had just played his initial top-tier professional game in late July 2024 during the BLAST Premier Fall Groups.

In my excitement, I couldn’t help but flash a crafty smile after outplaying ZywOo in that round, Roland “ultimate” Tomkowiak style.
The knife happened in the 3rd round of Nuke, with Team Liquid up 2-0 on the CT side. To be fair, Team Vitality was on an eco, but a knife kill on the great Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut is still something few players have ever done, especially in an S-Tier tournament such as BLAST Fall Final 2024.
If you didn’t catch it, Team Vitality pulled off an impressive turnaround from a 10-3 disadvantage on the CT side of Nuke, ultimately beating Team Liquid 13-11 in a thrilling game to take the series 2-0.
