In the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday, due next year, Downey will rejoin the franchise in a fresh role, portraying a villainous version of Doctor Doom from another universe.

Although fans haven’t caught a glimpse of Downey in full Doctor Doom costume yet, the Iron Man star has been playfully hinting at the villain through various pictures and videos. From donning his powerful muscle suit that resembles Captain America’s super soldier serum to sharing artistic depictions of his new MCU character on special occasions, it’s clear that Downey is fully committed to embodying Victor Von Doom.

In continuation, Downey shared another post on social media, revealing a provocative artwork depicting the character Doctor Doom in this instance.

In a fresh video uploaded to his Instagram account together with Amazon Prime Day, the actor known from “Avengers: Doomsday” is spotted before a seemingly inappropriate ad for a company named Doctor Doom’s Proctology.

Above the made-up company’s title, a fist belonging to Doom is depicted, with its two index fingers raised in the air and a suggestion to “Cheers up!” written instead of “BOTTOMZ UP!!” for a friendlier tone.

It appears that this Doom-inspired artwork doesn’t seem connected to the forthcoming “Avengers: Doomsday” film. Instead, it showcases a satirical depiction of Downey’s latest Marvel antagonist, without any direct ties to the movie itself.

In his upcoming appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie “Avengers: Doomsday” scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, Robert Downey Jr. will trade his heroic role for a villainous one by portraying Doctor Doom, a mysterious and malevolent character from the Multiverse who wears a mask. This film is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, known for their work on “Infinity War” and “Endgame.

In the film titled “Doomsday,” a group of Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes unite, teaming up with characters from various parts of the Marvel Multiverse. You can expect appearances by Anthony Mackie as Captain America and Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside renowned X-Men figures like Professor X, played by Patrick Stewart, and Magneto, portrayed by Ian McKellen.
