As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, the announcement of Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle Remastered for PlayStation 5 has filled me with uncontainable excitement! I remember playing the original on PS2 back in ’04, and now, almost two decades later, I’ll be able to revisit this classic title on a new generation console.
On November 7, it was announced that NIS America will release the initial Phantom Brave game for PlayStation 5 under the title Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle Remastered. This classic game, which originally debuted on PS2 in 2004, has been re-released on Steam in July 2016 and on Switch in August 2021 as part of the Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 1 collection.
The Hermuda Triangle Remastered” narrates the story of Marona’s initial journey, during which she met a spirit called Ash for the first time. She employs her special ability known as Chartreuse Gale to attach spirits to physical items.
Through the ability known as Confinement, spirits temporarily inhabit an object or entity when bound to it. This is how players can generate extra team members during combat.
The Lost Hero,” has just been announced for release on January 30, 2025. You can find it on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The PC version is expected to arrive later in 2025.
