As a seasoned gamer and avid fan of the Batman universe, I can hardly contain my excitement over the upcoming sequel to Todd Phillips’ critically acclaimed Joker (2019) – Joker: Folie à Deux. The recent revelation that Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, will join Joaquin Phoenix’s iconic portrayal of Arthur Fleck in the film has sent waves of anticipation through the comic book movie community.
In the upcoming DC movie “Joker: Folie à Deux,” it’s not just Harley Quinn who could be teaming up with the Joker. According to closed captions, Harvey Dent, more famously known as Two-Face, is rumored to make an appearance in the sequel.
In the official trailer for Joker 2, DiscussingFilm posted a picture showing Dent’s name appearing in the closed captions. However, this feature has been taken down by YouTube now, suggesting that Warner Bros. wants to keep this information hidden at the moment. At the beginning of the video, it appears that Dent says, “People think Arthur Fleck is some sort of hero. But he’s not. He’s a monster.”

The new Joker 2 trailer hints at a chaotic love story with music elements and suggests that Arthur Fleck (played by Joaquin Phoenix) will face a trial, potentially with Dent taking on the role of the prosecutor. Moreover, Harry Lawtey joined the cast in 2022 for an essential role in Joker 2, but no information was disclosed about his character at that time.
In the meantime, Lady Gaga takes on the role of Quinn in Joker 2. Her connection with Fleck is a significant storyline for this DC movie. Joining her are actors Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, Steve Coogan, and Ken Leung in the cast.
