How to unlock Cloud Watching camo in Warzone & MW3

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say, the latest update in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 has me intrigued! The new animated camo, Cloud Watching, is a beauty to behold, but boy, it ain’t easy to get your hands on it.

In the latest Season 6 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, there’s a fresh, animated camouflage up for grabs called “Cloud Gazing,” but securing this reward won’t be a walk in the park.

In the latest update for The Haunting, we’ve got a heap of new content! This includes spooky crossovers and weapons such as the DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle. Moreover, it also includes camouflage patterns to customize your guns before Black Ops 6 merges in.

Here’s a simple explanation for using the animated Cloud Watching camouflage, and all the essential details you require are included below.

How to get Cloud Watching camo

To obtain the Cloud Watching camouflage in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, you must successfully finish every one of the eight challenges associated with the Purgatory Island events. While the skin is interchangeable between both games, only the objectives can be completed within the freshly introduced Purgatory mode in Warzone, set on a terrifying rendition of Rebirth Island.

Here’s a breakdown of all the challenges:

  • Reach Torment Level 2.
  • Spend 5 Minutes outside the Safe Zone without killing another Operator.
  • Get 50 Mercenary kills using the Terriball, or while in a Vehicle.
  • Commend 5 Operators while in the Safe Zone.
  • Get 5 Operator kills while in a Vehicle.
  • Get 3 Operator kills using the Terriball.
  • Teleport 15 Times using Portals.
  • Pilot the Flying Shipment.

For several tasks, simply playing Purgatory will allow for easy completion, however, some tasks prove to be challenging and may necessitate additional efforts. If you’re finding it hard to complete all eight, this guide offers strategies for tackling the more difficult challenges.

How to pilot Flying Shipment

In Purgatory mode, the multiplayer map known as The Shipment appears to be suspended above an island floating in the sky. You can control this vessel by engaging with a luminous pink control panel. This control panel is hidden inside a hollowed-out container situated centrally on the map, though it might be overlooked because it’s actually perched atop another container.

Keeping that thought, the most convenient method to reach it would be by stepping off the helicopter and heading directly towards the container diagonally opposite, followed by a quick jump over to your destination.

As you draw near the control station, a message will greet you with “Assume command.” Engaging with this command allows you to manipulate the island, moving it freely in the sky and adjusting its altitude either upwards or downwards.

How to increase Torment level

To advance your Torment level, simply accumulate kills. As your level rises, you’ll receive more Experience Points (XP) for every kill or survival until the next circle.

Players with higher Torment levels will be easily spotted on the map, so it’s not unexpected that other teams might target you in search of a challenge.

How to Commend a player

To praise a Warzone player, go near someone within a Safe Area and press the interactive key. This action rewards you with some XP and advances one of your eight Cloud Watching camouflage tasks.

Landing spots designated as Safe Zones can be easily identified by a large, violet sphere. We advise making a beeline for these areas upon arrival. If you find yourself within the boundaries, your camera view will switch from first-person to third-person, signifying that you’re safely enclosed.

In these zones, opponents won’t be able to harm you, but they won’t offer any weapons or valuable items either. After you’ve completed your Commendation here, it would be wise to return to the main fight and gather resources again.
