As a seasoned cinema devotee who has spent countless hours immersed in the rich tapestry of documentaries and series, I find this partnership between NASCAR Studios and Words + Pictures, forming Full Speed Entertainment, a truly exciting development. My passion for racing is only surpassed by my love for compelling narratives, and this collaboration promises to deliver just that – great racing content woven into captivating stories.

Through collaboration between NASCAR Studios and Words + Pictures, they’ve established Full Speed Entertainment – a dynamic production partnership dedicated to creating and broadcasting captivating racing documentaries, series, live studio shows, and podcasts.

It’s been learned that one of the initial endeavors for the banner will involve the second season of the NASCAR documentary series, “Full Speed,” which is slated to premiere on Netflix in 2025.

Connor Schell, Words + Pictures CEO and founder, is overjoyed about the growth in our NASCAR partnership with Full Speed Entertainment. Our initial collaboration on Full Speed was a fulfilling endeavor for us, and it was a blast working alongside NASCAR Studios throughout the process. The prospect of teaming up with them again to deliver even more exhilarating racing content is full of potential we can’t wait to explore.

In their new role, longtime collaborator with NASCAR and former “Full Speed” executive producer Tally Hair, will oversee Full Speed Entertainment as its General Manager.

John Dahl, NASCAR’s vice president of content, finds it incredibly fitting for NASCAR Studios and himself, as he shares a deep respect and admiration for Connor. Their professional bond dates back to their work together on ESPN Films and 30 for 30, and John is thrilled about the opportunities they can uncover in this fresh phase of their collaboration.

In the year 2021, Schell and Peter Chernin established Words + Pictures as their venture. This company has also produced other documentaries and docuseries such as “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story,” “Giannis: The Incredible Journey,” “Super League: The Struggle for Football,” and “Full Court Press.

In the early part of this year, NASCAR entered into a collaboration with CAA. This partnership was established with the goal of enhancing NASCAR Studios by forging strategic alliances across various mediums such as film, television, music, and podcasts. The aim is also to expand the brand by bringing in fresh, diverse talent.
