As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen the evolution of RPGs from their humble beginnings to the grand epics they are today. When Mistwalker and Square Enix announced Fantasian Neo Dimension, it was like a breath of fresh air in an otherwise monotonous gaming landscape.
At Sony’s September 24 State of Play event, it was revealed that Fantasian Neo Dimension will be released on December 5. This game will be available for play on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Two fresh trailers for Fantasian Neo Dimension have been unveiled, offering a sneak peek into the newly added voiceovers in this updated version of Fantasian. I had the opportunity to test out Fantasian Neo Dimension at an early preview event, which featured the voiceover audio lines.
Moreover, it was found out that the Fantasian Neo Dimension provides an option for players to swap the battle music with a variety of combat tunes from different Final Fantasy games such as FFXIV: Dawntrail, FFVII: Rebirth, and many others.
Initially, Fantasian was launched in April 2021 exclusively on Apple Arcade as two separate sections. However, the upcoming version, Fantasian Neo Dimension, will combine both parts of Fantasian into a single package, available on all consoles and PC systems right away.
