EA FC 25 star BorasLegend demands “big patch” to fix horrible gameplay

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that EA FC 25 has been a rollercoaster ride this year. I’ve played every FIFA since its inception and have seen the highs and lows, but the current state of gameplay in Division Rivals is pushing me to the brink.

Known gamer BorasLegend has pointed out significant problems in Electronic Arts’ FIFA 25, particularly concerning its gameplay mechanics, and has advocated for immediate adjustments to improve passing and balance overpowered strategies.

EA FC 25 didn’t exactly reinvent the wheel in terms of gameplay this year, with very few major changes on the pitch. That being said, the tweaks that were made have made for a very different meta in this season’s Ultimate Team.

However, not all fans are pleased with the current course of matches, as popular EA SPORTS FC streamer and ex-FIFA pro, BorasLegend, has criticized the experience in the upper echelons of Division Rivals. He finds the games monotonous and urges for modifications to the passing mechanics.

Right now, FC 25 has some significant problems. Animations are lagging terribly and sluggish, the left stick controls aren’t working properly, passes can’t be strung together, and first touches are just plain terrible,” he stated in a Reddit post. “All you see in higher divisions is constant L1-boost usage and trivialas. This isn’t variety; it needs a major update.

In response, he made another post suggesting that players need to put more effort into preventing the opposing team from scoring.

For a long time, defensive AI has been more robust than ever before. It’s capable of making automatic tackles and setting up offside traps, which means that even an average player could play like the legendary Paolo Maldini in goal.

For quite some time now, defensive AI has been more powerful than ever before. With its ability to execute automatic tackles and implement offside traps, it effectively transforms many players into top-tier defenders akin to the legendary Paolo Maldini in goal.

1) It turns out that the recently added speed advantage feature is incredibly powerful, enabling players to effortlessly dash past their opponents. Additionally, trapazoidal (or trivelas) shots, which are typically difficult for goalkeepers to save due to their curved trajectory with the outside of the foot, have become quite a favorite among players.

Many other gamers concurred with Boras’ viewpoint, labeling the gameplay in EA FC 25 as chaotic, and stating that it’s becoming nearly impossible to compete in higher divisions due to this disarray.

One person strongly concurred, commenting that the game was having a rockier beginning than Electronic Arts Football Club 24. Another chimed in, expressing frustration over the challenging requirement of 15 victories against rivals in a gameplay that’s less than satisfactory.

Although many found the speed increase and Trivelas excessively powerful, some appreciated the enhancements made to passing, believing these updates make the gameplay feel more akin to authentic football.

This person agrees with most of what’s been said, but they take issue with the casual remarks about long balls being passed back and forth across the field. They suggest we leave such playstyles in the past, specifically during the PS3 era, in my opinion.

Since the launch of EA Sports Football Club 25, they’ve made several updates primarily focused on fixing issues and bugs. However, if the complaints continue to escalate, particularly as FUT Champs is set to begin on October 4th, expect some adjustments to gameplay mechanics in the near future.
