Dragon Ball Z villain gets huge tribute during football match

As a lifelong Dragon Ball Z fanatic who grew up watching Goku and his pals battle it out against some of the universe’s most formidable foes, I must say that the Al-Ahli FC fans have truly outdone themselves with their Broly tifo!

During a football game, supporters honored one of Dragon Ball Z’s most formidable antagonists by constructing a massive depiction of him, aiming to provoke their rivals.

Across the globe, the Dragon Ball series has captured hearts for years, often serving as an introduction to the captivating style of shonen narratives. In the ’90s, Dragon Ball Z achieved extraordinary popularity, fostering a dedicated fanbase that remains vibrant today.

A large number of fans turned up for the football game between Al-Ahli Saudi FC and Al-Hilal FC, with Al-Ahli supporters displaying a tifo depicting Broly, a powerful villain from Dragon Ball, as a means to intimidate their opponents.

On one side of the stadium stands the Saiyan adversary, bedecked in Al-Ahli’s team colors and his typical intimidating demeanor. Opposite him, a stand displays the words, “End their victory,” aiming to motivate the players towards a decisive outcome.

Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as planned; Al-Hilal ended up winning 2-1. Occasionally, football can be unpredictable, similar to the battles depicted in Akira Toriyama’s comics and animated series.

Should you need someone to intimidate your opponents, Broly would be the perfect choice. First appearing in the 1993 film “Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan,” this extraordinarily powerful and massive Saiyan pushes everyone to their very limits.

In the thrilling world of Dragon Ball, I made my long-awaited comeback in 2018, during Dragon Ball Super: Broly. This was my first official appearance in the canon storyline. My presence is always significant due to my extraordinary power level that sets me apart from others.

If Broly chooses to engage in a confrontation, Goku and Vegeta must intervene promptly to lessen the impact. Such intensity is desirable in sports occasionally, albeit it may be more intense compared to the situations portrayed in Haikyu!! and Blue Lock.

It’s uncertain at this point whether he will appear in Dragon Ball Daima, the series where several characters turn into kids. To be honest, even as a little one, he appears to be quite formidable and potentially troublesome.
