Bandai Namco has unveiled a forthcoming mobile card game titled Digimon Alysion, which players can enjoy without charge. Although the specific launch date remains undisclosed, a closed beta testing phase is planned for future implementation. Additionally, the game incorporates in-app purchases.
As a devoted fan, I wasn’t shown much about the game yet, but Bandai Namco has shared some intriguing tidbits. One of the characters they introduced is Kanata Honde, a black-haired girl who appears to be our main character. There’s also Futre, a girl with short white hair who seems to possess a unique ability. Another character is Valner Dragnogh. In addition, we have a Digimon named Gemmon, a fluffy white creature adorned with gems, who might just be our protagonist’s trusted partner. I can hardly wait to learn more!
As a passionate fan, I can’t help but marvel at the incredible success of The Pokemon Company’s Pokemon TCG Pocket – an electronic rendition of their iconic trading card game that’s been sweeping the globe since its debut. With over 100 million downloads to its name, it’s no wonder other franchises like Digimon are trying to emulate its popularity, given they’ve spent so long playing catch-up behind Pokemon’s shadow.
Bandai Namco is developing another Digimon game titled “Digimon Story: Time Stranger,” scheduled for release on various platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S this year.
