With a background that includes playing games from the early days of the PlayStation to the latest releases on PC, I’ve seen my fair share of mediocre titles and masterpieces alike.

The thrilling action-adventure title, Unknown 9: Awakening, was officially launched on various platforms. You can purchase it for $59.99 across several platforms such as PC (Steam), PlayStation 4/5 (PS Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S (Xbox Store). However, it seems to have garnered limited attention on Valve’s platform, Steam, with only 29% positive reviews according to SteamDB.

It appears that actress Anya Chalotra, famously known for her role as Yennefer in Netflix’s The Witcher, won’t be involved with the action-adventure game Unknown 9: Awakening. This game from Reflector Entertainment has received mixed reviews from critics, who highlight its numerous flaws.

At the moment I’m composing this text, the PS5 edition of the mentioned game has received 17 reviews on Metacritic. Its average score is 64 out of 100, which is a typical result for an AA project that began development prior to 2020. It’s worth noting that Netflix’s “The Witcher” holds the same average rating on this review aggregator – 64 out of 100 (based on 62 professional reviews). This might suggest that Anya Chalotra has been unfortunate in working on average-rated productions.
