The Plucky Squire Gets New 'Streamlined Mode' For More Experienced Players

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the latest update from The Plucky Squire has truly caught my eye (or should I say screen?). The ‘Streamlined’ mode seems tailored just for me – an experienced player who appreciates less guidance and more action. It’s like they read my gaming diary!

The spirited Squire has rolled out a fresh ‘Simplified’ play style for seasoned gamers, which could significantly alter your gaming experience, as stated by developers All Potential Tomorrows: “The Simplified mode is designed for veterans who prefer less instruction and more gameplay. For instance! A door opens – wouldn’t it be unnecessary for the game to pause and the camera to shift, highlighting the door opening? Perhaps not!

If you’re eager to play the game while also following the story, the Streamlined Mode remains accessible to you. In this mode, some dialogues have been condensed – a sentence here, a sentence there… It’s not as if we’ve removed entire scenes, just made certain parts more concise for a smoother and more efficient experience, according to All Possible Futures.

This update adds speech bubble portraits for easier identification of who is speaking during action-packed gameplay sessions. Furthermore, it offers a range of user-friendly enhancements such as more frequent automatic saves in historical settings and the ability to replay individual chapters.

“If you do get stuck somewhere, both of these should help,” developers said.
