‘1923’ Season 2: ‘The Chosen’ Alum Andy Dispensa to Recur in ‘Yellowstone’ Prequel (EXCLUSIVE)

His life experience, from playing Dion in “The Chosen” to his recent stint on “NCIS: Hawai’i,” showcases a versatility that I believe will shine in his role as Luca in the upcoming season of “1923.

Andy Dispensa is set to appear regularly in the second season of the “1923” spin-off from “Yellowstone,” according to our exclusive information, EbMaster reports.

In the upcoming production, the character named Dispensa is set to portray Luca, who is a youthful mechanic on board a merchant vessel. He’s joining an ensemble that features Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, Sebastian Roché, Timothy Dalton, and Jennifer Carpenter.

The official description of the new season of the series states:

In the second series of ‘1923,’ a severe winter introduces fresh hurdles for Jacob (Ford) and Cara (Mirren) at the Dutton ranch. Despite the harsh environment and enemies intent on destroying the Dutton lineage, Spencer (Sklenar) braves a difficult trek back to Montana, fighting against time to protect his family. Simultaneously, Alexandra (Schlaepfer) undertakes a perilous trans-Atlantic voyage in search of Spencer and to restore their relationship.

Known primarily for portraying Dion in the successful Biblical show “The Chosen,” Dispensa has also made appearances in the TV series “NCIS: Hawai’i.” Additionally, he is a screenwriter whose scripts have been optioned, as well as an author of published plays.

He is repped by Momentum Talent Agency and Established Artists.

Starting February 23rd, ‘1923’ will be released with fresh episodes every week thereafter. This epic production is brainchild of Taylor Sheridan, who is not only the creator but also an executive producer. Alongside him, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Ben Richardson, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox are serving as executive producers.
