Chernin Entertainment Promotes Tracey Cook, Kaitlin Dahill to Lead TV Division

As a longtime follower and admirer of Chernin Entertainment, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the well-deserved promotions of Tracey Cook and Kaitlin Dahill to lead the company’s television division. Their collective experience and expertise have been instrumental in crafting some of the most captivating stories on our screens today.

Under the umbrella of The North Road Company, Chernin Entertainment has elevated Tracey Cook and Kaitlin Dahill into senior roles within their Television Department.

The president of Chernin Entertainment, Jenno Topping, announced that Cook and Dahill would still be reporting to him following the announcement.

Topping commented that Tracey and Kaitlin are two of the most gifted executives within our industry. Over the last ten years, their efforts have significantly contributed to Chernin Entertainment’s prosperity, which has also fueled the expansion of the North Road portfolio. By leading our impressive future lineup, they have paved the way for ongoing success. Their new role heading the television division is just one example of how we are adapting to this evolving marketplace by becoming more agile and innovative in discovering fresh talent and content.

Cook and Dahill are managing multiple shows from Chernin’s current lineup, such as the upcoming Netflix series “Man on Fire” and “The Madness”, as well as “Chief of War” for Apple TV+.

11 years ago, Cook started working with Chernin, where she’s since been instrumental in creating series such as “See” and “Truth Be Told” on Apple TV+, “Bombay Begums” on Netflix, and more. She initially worked within the film division of the company, contributing to productions like Paul Feig’s “Spy” and Tim Burton’s “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.” Earlier in her professional journey, she was part of the talent department at WME.

At present, Dahill is engaged in creating a collection of shows, one of which is scripted by the acclaimed author Amy Chozick and features Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy as the lead actress on Netflix. Additionally, she’s working on a “Sweet Valley High” series together with Fake Empire. Before joining Chernin Entertainment, Dahill held an executive position at Marvel Television. Her professional journey started in production, where she spent four seasons working on the Emmy-nominated NBC show “Parenthood,” created by Jason Katims.
