As a seasoned flight simulator enthusiast with countless hours spent soaring virtual skies, I must admit that my excitement for MSFS 2024 was dampened by its rocky debut. The server issues were reminiscent of trying to hitch a ride on a turbulent zeppelin rather than a modern jetliner.
The latest member of the Microsoft Flight Simulator series, MSFS 2024, has a rocky debut. Upon its release, server problems caused numerous issues for players trying to load or even start the game. Even if you successfully started the simulation, there were instances where aircraft were missing. One particularly frustrating aspect was spending extended periods in long login queues.
Players Waited in Long Login Queue to Fly in MSFS 2024
It appears that the server issue is mostly being addressed at this moment. Not too long ago, developers from X announced that they are putting in significant effort to resolve the problem. Furthermore, in their official YouTube video, they’ve admitted that the servers are contributing to other issues mentioned earlier.
Currently, you can play the game with minimal restrictions. In the past, players have encountered lengthy wait times due to queues. At present, we can’t guarantee that login screens won’t resurface when a larger number of users connect to the servers. The developers haven’t definitively stated that the problem has been permanently resolved. Here’s hoping it’s a lasting solution and not just a temporary pause due to reduced user activity. One thing is clear, many people are putting in a lot of effort to improve the game at this moment.
