The all-star cast, led by none other than the legendary Robert De Niro, is an exciting prospect for any fan of quality drama.

I’m thrilled to share that the highly-anticipated Netflix drama “Zero Day” featuring the legendary Robert De Niro has finally announced its official premiere date!

The highly-anticipated conspiracy thriller series is set to premiere on our streaming platform on February 20th. It’s worth noting that this series has been under development, as EbMaster revealed back in 2022.

In addition to the six-episode run, this series boasts an impressive cast that includes Angela Bassett, Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Plemons, Joan Allen, Connie Britton, Dan Stevens, and Matthew Modine. Bill Camp, Gaby Hoffmann, Clark Gregg, McKinley Belcher III, and again Dan Stevens will make special appearances throughout the series.

In a nutshell, the movie features Robert De Niro portraying George Mullen, a revered ex-U.S. President, now leading the Zero Day Commission. The commission’s mission is to identify the culprits behind a nationwide cyber attack that has resulted in widespread destruction and countless lives lost. As misinformation spreads and the self-interests of tech magnates, financial elites, and government officials intersect, Mullen’s relentless pursuit of truth compels him to confront his hidden past, potentially jeopardizing everything he cherishes.

The television series titled “Zero Day” was jointly created by Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, and Michael S. Schmidt. Apart from creating it, all three are also involved as executive producers. Notably, Newman and Oppenheim not only take on the role of executive producers but also function as writers and co-showrunners. In addition to his executive producer duties, Robert De Niro also stars in the series. Lesli Linka Glatter is responsible for directing and also serves as an executive producer. Furthermore, Jonathan Glickman also contributes as an executive producer.

In his career, “Zero Day” represented the debut of Robert De Niro’s regular television appearances, even though he has been honored with numerous Emmy nominations, such as the one for Best Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series, which he received for HBO’s film “Wizard of Lies,” where he portrayed Bernie Madoff.
