Streamer Tfue ignores Florida evacuation warnings despite Hurricane Milton arrival

As a seasoned gamer and long-time follower of Tfue, I find myself both worried and admiring of his resilience during these trying times. Having grown up in Florida myself, I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with Mother Nature, so I understand the pull to stay put and ride out the storm. However, after witnessing the devastation wreaked by Hurricane Helene on Tfue’s hometown, I can’t help but feel a tinge of concern for his safety.

Top Fortnite player and popular streamer Tfue has decided to remain in place as Hurricane Milton nears the coast of Florida, just a few weeks following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene which reportedly caused damage to his hometown. This decision comes despite advisories from authorities.

Currently, Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney resides along the western shoreline of Florida, a region now braced for impact as Hurricane Milton approaches, marking another powerful storm to impact the state since the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

“Helen caused destruction in Tfue’s hometown, filling up her own house with water that reached the first floor. ‘This is really unfortunate,’ the streamer remarked, posting pictures of the damage online which quickly gained popularity on platform X.

This is so sad man and it’s crazy to think the water levels got even higher too

Currently, they’re gearing up for a larger tempest as Hurricane Milton draws near. This “dangerous” storm is predicted to strike the coastline on Wednesday evening, October 9th, and authorities are advising locals to leave their homes.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve got to say, Tfue isn’t backing down. In a YouTube video posted on October 9th, he shared his experience as Hurricane Helene approached, moving his possessions upstairs in readiness for the impending storm.

He mentioned that he and Katie will persevere, as things aren’t looking particularly promising right now. He expressed his love for all of us and hoped for the best, although there’s always uncertainty about what might happen next, even after this message is posted.

Regardless of him choosing to remain, the streamer urged his local fans to depart in a previous segment of the video.

He continued by expressing, “I must leave this place,” and suggested, “perhaps it would be wise for everyone else to depart as well.

Supporters in the comments section are expressing their goodwill towards Tfue, encouraging him to “remain secure” as a storm approaches.

Currently, Hurricane Milton is categorized as a powerful Category 4 hurricane, capable of sustained winds reaching 140 miles per hour.

Severe flooding is anticipated in the impacted regions, and tornadoes have been sighted on the state’s peninsula already.

Besides Tfue, other streamers chose to brave hurricanes despite official warnings. One such streamer gained virality when he live-streamed himself enduring Hurricane Helene inside a tent, claiming the stunt came close to taking his life.
