The actor mentioned during episode 27 of ‘Manly Things (Sort Of)’ that he wasn’t at his 238-pound weight when we began filming, but rather, that was his heaviest. He also shared that none of his pants could accommodate him at that size.
The “Hollywood” star likewise touched upon the challenges of preserving his ideal weight during filming, revealing that the physical change he undertook in the beginning was uncomfortable as his body wasn’t fully accustomed to the additional weight he had added.
During a table reading for the movie, Corenswet playfully mentioned that it was only then he realized he had grown to a size 2XL when wearing a Champion sweatshirt.
Corenswet stated that he was at his heaviest during that time on the podcast. Afterwards, he gradually shed pounds before filming began. He started shooting around 228 or 230 pounds, and he admitted that this experience served as an opportunity for him to explore how much weight he could possibly gain.

The post featured two still images: a first look at Corenswet in the official Superman suit and a shot of the actor flexing his muscles in the gym.
The movie titled “Superman,” helmed by director James Gunn, has been planned for a theater release on the 11th of July, 2025.
