Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Netflix Docuseries to Stream in November Ahead of Boxing Match

As a seasoned movie buff with decades of boxing films under my belt, I must say this upcoming Netflix event is nothing short of intriguing! The docuseries, “Countdown: Paul vs Tyson,” promises an unprecedented look into the lives and training camps of two iconic figures – Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.

Netflix is set to premiere a three-episode documentary series about Jake Paul and Mike Tyson before their boxing match on November 15th. The service has also announced that the live event will commence at 8 PM Eastern Time / 5 PM Pacific Time.

The docuseries named “Countdown: Paul vs Tyson” will offer viewers a glimpse into the training camps of both combatants, providing close-up insights into “The Problem Child”, Jake ‘El Gallo’ Paul (10-1, 7 KOs) and boxing legend Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs), as they gear up for their highly anticipated match. The first two episodes of this series will be released on November 7th, followed by the third and final episode on November 12th. This three-part series concludes just three days before Paul, aged 27, and Tyson, who is 58, step into the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

In addition to highlighting the main events, “Countdown” will also capture the build-up to the highly anticipated match between Katie Taylor, the super lightweight champion with a record of 23 wins (1 loss), 6 knockouts, and Amanda Serrano, the featherweight champion boasting a record of 47 wins (2 losses, 1 draw), 31 knockouts. These two will battle it out for the undisputed super lightweight championship title.

“Countdown: Paul vs Tyson” is a production by EverWonder Studio. The executive producers are Ian Orefice and Michael Antinoro, while Tim Mullen and Jackie Decker take on the roles of directors.

The highly anticipated fight between Paul and Tyson, originally scheduled for July, has been pushed back to November. This change is because the event’s promoter, Most Valuable Promotions, announced a delay due to Tyson needing more time to recover from an ulcer flare-up.
