As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for sci-fi and turn-based RPGs, I must admit that the new footage of The Starbites – Taste of Desert has me utterly thrilled! Ever since I stumbled upon the first announcement back in 2023, this game has been on my radar. The dystopian desert setting, the mysterious artifact, and the turn-based mecha combat – it’s like a sci-fi enthusiast’s dream come true!
Fresh clips of the sci-fi tactical RPG titled “The Starbites – A Taste of Desert” were unveiled during Microsoft’s Tokyo Game Show 2024 presentation. First announced in 2023, this game is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series gaming systems.
During the recent showcase, I was thrilled to catch a glimpse of the latest trailer unveiled, jam-packed with gameplay, storyline, and exploration footage, as part of a sizzling reel highlighting games coming to Xbox Game Pass. Created by INKINAGAMES, “The Starbites” unfolds on Bitter, once a lush world now transformed into a desolate desert due to the devastation brought about by interstellar conflicts. Lukida, an adventurer, and her companions traverse the barren landscape in search of riches, eventually stumbling upon a cryptic relic known as the “Oracle.” This enigmatic artifact has the potential to drastically alter not only their lives but also the fate of the entire planet.
