How to get REV-8: Step-by-step guide
- Head to New Atlantis Spaceport and speak to the Ship Services Technician.
- Select ‘I’d like to purchase a vehicle.’
- Spend 25,000 Credits on the REV-8.
- Fly to another planet and you’ll find the REV-8 sitting beside your ship.
Find the Ship Services Technician in New Atlantis
You can choose any spaceport accompanied by a Ship Technician, but New Atlantis is just as suitable because there’s a high chance you’ve been there previously. Simply select ‘New Atlantis’ as your destination, and the technician will be waiting for you, conveniently located under the Ship Services sign.
Select “I’d like to purchase a vehicle”
When conversing with the Ship Technician, opt for the “I’m interested in buying a vehicle” response. This will provide you with an opportunity to acquire the REV-8.
Buy the REV-8 for 25,000 Credits
With a balance of 25,000 credits on hand, you’re eligible to acquire the REV-8 automobile. Notably, this vehicle is marked as one of a kind (Vehicle 1/1), implying there might be more like it in the future, possibly in the Shattered Space expansion.
Find it beside your ship
After purchasing the REV-8, you’ll be able to effortlessly traverse the entire galaxy, with the spacecraft conveniently waiting by your ship whenever you need it. Jump into it and embark on expeditions across various planets at speeds far surpassing what you could manage on foot.

The REV-8 will provide you protection too, equipped with a robust built-in laser turret for your offensive needs. You can use it just like any other weapon, aim and shoot when necessary.
Pressing ‘X’ on your controller or ‘R’ on your keyboard will activate the horn, while changing to a first-person perspective can be achieved by adjusting the camera angle using the toggle POV (Point of View) button.
