Police delete smartschoolboy9 warnings after revealing investigation

As a seasoned gamer and internet explorer with a hearty dose of skepticism, I’ve seen my fair share of online mysteries and misadventures. The case of smartschoolboy9 is one that has piqued my interest due to its eerie and unsettling nature.

Following a post that seemed to hint at an active probe regarding smartschoolboy9 on social platforms, UK law enforcement officials subsequently removed that particular post.

A month back today, I found myself diving into an unsettling digital maze, all thanks to Nick Crowley’s mini-docuseries he shared on his YouTube channel. The intriguing subject at hand was none other than smartschoolboy9.

Essentially, Reddit users uncovered several Instagram profiles that seemed to be fake accounts portraying children, with heavily manipulated, distorted, and even inappropriate content. Subsequently, they identified smartschoolboy9, an account (now removed) managed by an adult male who donned tight school uniforms. In one video, he appeared to pursue a real child.

As I, an enthusiastic follower, delve into the digital world in search of hints and attempts to reach the individual behind the account, there’s been buzz about his past detentions. Recognizing the potential danger, Greenwich Police Service has taken to Twitter to alert parents about this suspected online predator.

“Attention parents, there have been reports of someone posing as a child on Snapchat under the username ‘SMART SCHOOL BOY 9.’ This individual is interacting with kids on social media, and we are still trying to determine their true intentions. To ensure your children’s safety online, keep an eye out for any suspicious activities and discuss internet security guidelines with them.

Yet, it has now been removed without any subsequent comments about the situation or whether an investigation is indeed underway.

Although it’s yet to be verified, there are widespread speculations that David London could be the person managing the smartschoolboy9 account. It’s important to note, though, that this could possibly be a pseudonym, similar to how David Alter was previously thought to be hiding behind a fake name.

A representative from South Yorkshire Police told TopMob that they won’t reveal if an individual, who might or might not have been under their investigation at some point, is indeed the person in question.

Over the last few weeks, it’s been challenging to discern truth from falsehood. There have been disputed interviews featuring David London, while a seemingly leaked voicemail from smartschoolboy9 has surfaced in discussions about the case on Reddit.

TopMob has contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment.
