This epic journey will see me venturing into uncharted territories with the debut of its very first expansion that introduces a never-before-seen destination – the mesmerizing Va’ruun’kai plane for me to explore.
In contrast to Starfield, which boasts an expansive feature due to its over 1,000 procedurally generated planets, Shattered Space offers a more targeted experience. Instead of the worlds within being randomly generated, the entirety of the DLC’s setting, Va’ruun’kai, is meticulously crafted by hand.

Can you preload Shattered Space?
At the moment of writing, it’s not possible to preload Starfield Shattered Space; instead, you can only pre-purchase it. In contrast, the primary game allowed for a preload phase nearly two weeks prior to its launch, but this doesn’t appear to be the case with the expansion.
How big is the file size?
There seems to be some discrepancy regarding the size of Shattered Space expansion. The Xbox App for Windows indicates that it’s only 17.01 MB, but this appears too small considering that Steam suggests having around 125 GB of free space, which is similar to the base game’s size.

First thing you should do
