Ice Posiedon responds to claims he paid Kick streamers to harass people at TwitchCon

As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of streaming, I’ve seen it all – from the inspiring and uplifting to the downright absurd. The recent events at TwitchCon San Diego have definitely fallen into the latter category, leaving me shaking my head in disbelief.

Ice Poseidon is countering accusations that he bribed Kick streamers to bully social media personalities during TwitchCon, following the uproar at the gathering for content creators.

At TwitchCon San Diego, conversations about Kick streamers went viral as some broadcasters on the platform displayed aggressive and disturbing actions towards fellow attendees.

For example, one live streamer on Kick (a streaming platform) kissed and licked Twitch users Nmplol and Wake Wilder in an act that viewers labeled as “live-streamed sexual misconduct,” while another forced a broadcaster onto a moving train.

Another individual engaged in a physical altercation with Twitch streamer Erobb following public allegations of cheating on his long-term partner, which the individual made. Some spectators suggested that Ice Poseidon, another well-known broadcaster, might have orchestrated this dispute between the streamers; however, Ice Poseidon denies this claim.

Rumors ignited when Twitch streamer JuliaKins alleged that someone labeled as a “Kick bully” had bribed other Kick streamers to harass attendees at TwitchCon. This accusation has led several individuals to speculate about the possible involvement of Ice Posedion in these events.

On September 24th, a tweet was posted by Poseidon explicitly denying the assertion, yet he acknowledged that he compensates individuals for harassing other creators on Kick.

“Dear LiveStreamFail community, I did not pay anyone to harass Twitch streamers,” he wrote. “I paid 50 subs to troll Sam Bond cuz he’s annoying and for someone to recommend moises to OTK as waterboy.

“Go ahead and spread rumors about me, but try to make them amusing. Oh, I’m not here, I’m off for a spin in my Ferrari.

Hello LSF comrades! Let me clarify, I didn’t shell out cash for anyone to bully Twitch streamers. I did, however, invest in 50 subs to tease Sam Bond because he can be quite irritating, and someone suggested Moises as a waterboy, which was just too amusing to resist. If you’re going to spread rumors about me, why not make them entertaining? Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time for a spin in the Lambo…

This recent turn of events is another chapter in the TwitchCon San Diego story. The controversial Kick streamers were kicked off the platform because of their misconduct, but content creators think this punishment isn’t severe enough.

Notable livestreamer xQc advocated for Kick to face significant consequences for inappropriate actions during live events, whereas YouTube personality Ludwig hypothesized that TwitchCon streamers might be damaging Kick’s standing over time.
