Jack in the Box customers torn over strange new combo being tested

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for fast food adventures, I must admit my curiosity is piqued by Jack in the Box‘s latest offering – the ramen noodle & chicken combo. Having grown up on a steady diet of video game fuel (mostly pizza and soda), this unique twist on comfort food seems like an exciting addition to my culinary journey.

Jack in the Box is stepping into autumn with a unique fast-food creation tailored for enthusiasts. In a creative twist, the restaurant is combining crispy chicken strips with ramen noodles, all immersed in a comforting broth.

Starting from September 23 and ending on October 14, the Ramen Noodle & Chicken Combo will initially be offered as a trial product, not yet available across the country.

To give it a go personally, you’ll need to make your way to San Diego, California, as numerous Jack in the Box locations are testing out the latest product there. This trial aims to gauge consumer interest and popularity.

In a new twist for fast food offerings, Jack in the Box becomes the pioneer by incorporating breaded meat into their ramen noodle dishes, following Del Taco’s introduction of the viral birra ramen with seasoned shredded meat, dried chiles, garlic, herbs, and spices in 2023.

Following the Instagram post displaying the latest ramen combination, opinions seemed mixed among viewers.

As a fellow gamer, I’m thrilled to see such enthusiasm! Some of you have shown great support with comments like “Count me in!” while others are suggesting broader testing. Specifically, they’re asking for Jack in the Box to try out this new product in more places, especially Texas. The reason? They say these kids munch on ramen every lunchtime there!

“Ohhhh how I miss Jack. It’s coming to the Chicago suburbs but not fast enough!” Another exclaimed.

Others, nonetheless, remained skeptical about the launch, expressing their doubts as: “I’m not entirely certain yet. It seems like it might lack sufficient taste.

Those restaurants that recently started serving ramen should halt this practice, as it’s plainly not appealing to some.

Besides Jack in the Box, other fast food chains like Taco Bell are also introducing new offerings this September. In particular, Taco Bell has reintroduced their popular giant Cheez-Its, but with a twist – customers now have the option to customize their own cheesy snacks!
