'Italian' Action RPG Enotria Is Coming to Steam Sooner Than Expected

As an avid gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that I’m quite excited about Enotria: The Last Song. The blend of Italian folklore and action RPG elements promises an immersive gaming experience, especially considering the richness of the Italian mythos.

Jyamma Games has shared on Steam that their latest creation, Enotria: The Last Song, will now debut on Valve’s platform a tad earlier than expected – specifically on September 16, rather than the previously scheduled release date of the 19th.

Regretfully, those using PS5 and XSX/S may need to practice a bit more patience. At present, there’s no sign of a delay for the action RPG on Sony’s platform, but the standard version of the game is still scheduled for release on September 19 via the PS Store, and the Deluxe Edition (offering early access) is slated for September 17. It’s possible that these dates could shift in the last moments. This uncertainty arises because…

In the aforementioned announcement, the creators mentioned their plans to inform the public about when the game Enotria will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Given the difficulties they faced launching the game on Xbox in the past, which they have since overcome, there’s a small possibility they might alter the release schedule so that the game launches on both platforms simultaneously. However, this is unlikely due to pre-orders, but not entirely out of the question, especially if the delay is minor and the PS5 version could benefit from it, as developers have previously indicated that the Xbox Series X version might perform slightly better.

Enotria: The Last Song – some info

If you’ve missed updates on the action RPG, “Enotria: The Last Song,” here’s a refresher: This game is deeply rooted in Italian folklore. In the game, we take on the role of the Force of Change, a character who is immune to the curse that has transformed the inhabitants of beautiful Enotria into hollow beings. Our mission is to uncover those responsible for the curse and restore peace to the land named after it.

Throughout our adventure across different landscapes, encounters with numerous enemies will require combat. Notably unique to the world of Enotria, masks serve as role-like identities or character builds. Swapping these masks during gameplay allows us to acquire the weapons and skills associated with them (which can be customized to some extent). Defeating adversaries grants us new masks, each offering its unique set of gear and abilities.

As per the details provided on the Steam game’s card, the developers have crafted more than 100 distinct adversaries for you to encounter. It is estimated that finishing the entire game will require approximately 40 hours of gameplay.
