As a die-hard fan of esports, I’ve seen my fair share of intense matches and dramatic comebacks, but nothing compares to the thrilling encounters at the Skyesports Championship 2024 playoffs!
At the Skyesports Championship 2024, the playoff round has begun with a bang! After a full day of quarter-final matches, we now have our semi-finalists determined. In one matchup, MongolZ went head-to-head with AMKAL. Meanwhile, in another thrilling encounter, 3DMAX faced off against ENCE.
Despite some bumps in the road during qualification, The MongolZ exuded self-assurance. On Dust2, they seized control from the get-go, securing a comfortable 8-4 lead over their rivals in the first half. Their dominance persisted in the second half, culminating in a resounding victory at 13-7.
Instead, things looked bleak for the team against AMKAL on Mirage, with AMKAL leading 10-3 and seemingly poised to close out the series. Yet, an unexpected turn of events occurred: The MongolZ staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, winning three rounds consecutively after the pistol round.
AMKAL advanced to the next stage, but failed to reach the target score against The MongolZ, who emerged victorious with a score of 13-11 and claimed the series victory with a 2-0 lead. In the semifinals, AMKAL will face Aurora for a chance to compete in the Grand Final.
I can’t help but be utterly astonished by @1mongolz’s remarkable comeback! With that game-changing performance, team @amkalesports unfortunately bids farewell to the Skyesports Championship 2024. Having followed esports for quite some time now, I have seen my fair share of ups and downs, but this turnaround takes the cake. It’s a bittersweet moment for fans and players alike as we witness the unpredictable nature of competitive gaming unfold before our eyes.

On Dust2, the competition between 3DMAX and ENCE remained tight during the first half with neither team gaining a clear advantage. However, in the second half, 3DMAX took control, winning every round and securing a dominating victory with a score of 13-5. The match on Ancient was full of ups and downs, with both teams displaying strong performances throughout.
At the outset, ENCE displayed superior play, securing three consecutive victories. However, their opponents managed to snatch the lead with four successive wins. The score then swung back in ENCE’s favor, as they took a 6-4 lead. Yet, 3DMAX kept pace, tying the first half at 6-6.
Following a similar trend, the game was tied at 10-10. However, 3DMAX took control with a streak of wins, bringing the score to 12-11. In an intense final round, ENCE came close to a remarkable comeback with a 1v3 clutch attempt, but fell just short. Ultimately, 3DMAX emerged victorious, winning the map by 13-11 and taking the series 2-0. Up next, they’ll face Eternal Fire, who have yet to lose a single series in this tournament.
At the Skiesports Championship 2024, team 3DMAXGaming advances with a 2-0 victory over ENCE, marking the end of their opposition in this round.
