The images leaked online showcasing Cape Mario riding on Yoshi with an interactive handle to make his tongue stick out just brings back so many nostalgic memories from my childhood.

According to recent reports, Nintendo and Lego are planned to introduce a Super Mario World 16-bit set this year. A recent leak has unveiled a sneak peek of Cape Mario riding atop Yoshi in an engaging Lego construction project. The unique feature includes a rotating handle that extends Yoshi’s tongue.

As a seasoned Lego collector with a passion for unearthing the latest and greatest sets, I couldn’t hide my excitement when I stumbled upon the news of the new Lego Super Mario World set on Jay’s Brick Blog. With an impressive 1,215 pieces and rumored to be released in October, this set had me hooked at first sight. Sadly, the webpage where I initially discovered it has since vanished, but thankfully, Jay’s Brick Blog managed to secure some images before it disappeared.

In 2020, the collaboration between Lego and Nintendo was initiated, launching with a Lego Super Mario interactive toy line. The following year, Donkey Kong add-ons were introduced, featuring Diddy and Dixie. Looking ahead, a Lego Mario Kart set is slated for release around 2025.

During Amazon Prime Day this month, many Lego Super Mario sets saw price reductions. A few of these bundles have since returned to their regular pricing, but others continue to be offered at a discount.
